The Palace Theatre organ was installed in 1923 at a cost of $14,000. According to Eugene Nye's detailed records, the organ was moved in November 1932 to the Clough-Barrick mortuary in Salem, Oregon for a cost of $5,000. In 1942, it was moved to the balcony and in 1944 a Dulciana rank was added.
 
The organ was eventually purchased by Dale Haskin of Portland.
 
The 3 HP Orgoblo blower (serial #14119) was later purchased by the Harold Schwanke of Salem, Oregon.
