Portland, Oregon

Back to the Northwest Theatre Oregon History: Residences page

The Alexander residence organ was originally from Portland's Columbia Theatre. After the silent era, it was donated to Portland's Shrine Temple by theatre owner, Colonel Woodlaw.

It was later sold to Frank Alexander for $500.00 and installed in his home by Bob Rickett. After Frank's death, the organ was sold to Andy Crow of Olympia, Washington.
