Back to the Northwest Organists page

Earline Hunt has had a lengthy and successful career in the Northwest, beginning in the old Liberty Theater in Spokane, where she played at the first radio broadcast from that theater. She played the 3-manual Wurlitzer organ at the Civic Ice Arena for skating and hockey games during the 40’s and provided live pipe organ music during the noon hours at the Seattle Center Food Circus after the organ was moved from the Arena in 1967.

She performed daily at the Plaza of Flags during the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and for years has played during the Christmas holidays at the Seattle First National Bank, Metropolitan Branch. Mrs. Hunt also played on the Seattle Civic Christmas Ship for 16 years.
