Steve has been the organist at the Portland Valley Scottish Rite Center since 1991. The Wurlitzer organ that is installed there was restored a few years ago by John Otterstedt, who is also a member.
 
Previously to coming to Portland, Steve was the organist at St. John Baptist Episcopal in Bowling Green Ohio, so he's done both sacred and secular work.
 
Presently Steve is a chemist for a biotech company in the Willamette valley.
