Shawver Residence - 3/10 Kimball
Edmonds, Washington

Back to the Northwest Theatre Organ History: Residences page
This instrument was originally from Seattle's Embassy Theatre. After the theatre, it was installed in
the Woodland Park Presbyterian Church. In the mid 1960's, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Shawver installed the instrument in
their beautiful waterfront home in Edmonds.

After Harold's passing, Mrs. Shawver eventually sold the home in 1978 and the owners got a free pipe
organ. There have been one or two sales subsequent to the first sale and each time the organ went
with the house. The current owner had the instrument completely refurbished in 1995, but it has not
generally been accessible to local organ enthusiasts.
